Hard to believe that it is about State Convention time again. The 116th Convention will be held at the Norfolk Lodge. Again this year we have the ONE STOP SHOP format.
Any proposed By-Law Changes must be in the hands of the State Secretary 30 day prior to State Convention to be considered for the agenda. Please, the deadline is May 10th.
Wednesday June 10th is the annual golf outing. The information for this will be in the State Bulletin and on the website. That evening will be a special “Welcome to Convention 2020” so plan to arrive and register between 4:30 and 6:30 PM.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED DELEGATE TO ATTEND THIS WELCOME EVENT AND THE HOSPITALITY ROOM AFTER ITS CONCLUSION! BRING A CARLOAD OF EAGLES AND JOIN US!!
Thursday June 11th we will have the Joint Opening beginning at 9:00 AM so registration will be from 7:30 – 8:30 AM. AGAIN A REMINDER, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED DELEGATE TO ATTEND THIS OPENING/MEMORIAL CEREMONY. MEETING ATTENDEES HAVE TO BE REGISTERED.
If you are a committee member of State President Larry Mattson you will also meet this morning at 11:00 AM so you will not have to miss any time during the business sessions.
Running for a State Office? Then you will also at this time be interviewed by the Committee for this purpose. Our first session will begin at 1:00 PM.
Friday June 12th any voting will take place before the 2nd session which is scheduled for 9:00 AM and the third and final session will begin at 1:00 PM.

Saturday, June 13th We have installation, auction, reception and the Convention Banquet.
Incoming State Presidents, Teri O’Connor and Larry Mora have asked that for their auction on Saturday to bring a new or slightly used item. Their State Charity is Alzheimer’s.
